I have a AB versa view workstation that turns on with a green light, but I get no
screen. Its just blank.
Can this be repaired or are we stuck buying a new unit from Allen Bradley?

These usually have bad backlight bulbs CCFLs. Most of the time they will damage the inverter drive board. You can repair or replace the inverter board but unless you install new lamps the old lamps will keep blowing the inverter board.

Many LCD displays and HMIs have the same kind of problem.
They are relatively easy repairs. Although, the bulbs are expenisive and hard to handle and have to be soldered in. The bulbs are less than 2mm thick and about 140-260mm long and easy to break. They also use 1500 to 2500 volts and properly insulating and routing the wiring is very important.

We can repair blacked out LCDs.

Do the 15" 6186-M15 have the same problems.
I have one that needs repair.
I think that the power supply is dead.
I get nothing at all no sound from the fans either.
